Homemade Skin Packs That Will Help Your Skin In Summers

Egg and honey mask

Egg comes with a list of nutrients and vitamins which are not just useful to our diet but also to the hair and skin. All you need to do is mix one egg white with a tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl and apply the paste to your face. Wash it off with lukewarm water after around 20 minutes. This keeps the pores of the skin tight and also reduces the oil.

Banana mask

Most people are aware of the benefits of banana on the skin. However, banana mask is not for those with an oily skin and only those who have a dry skin. Mash half a banana and add to it one tablespoon of honey and another tablespoon of sour cream. Apply on your skin and rinse with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. The mask makes the skin much smoother and also lends a glow.

Sandalwood and rosewater

Another excellent pack for the face is sandalwood, which is found in most Indian homes. And it works well for those who sweat a lot in summers. All you have to do is mix sandalwood and rose water and apply twice a week. Rinse with cold water once the mask dries. You will feel your skin become tighter and smoother.

Milk and honey pack

This is just as effective as the egg and honey mask. Add a few drops of honey to raw milk, till it becomes a thick mask. Apply on your face, let it stay for 10 minutes and rinse with cold water. This acts as a great moisturiser for the skin and makes it supple.

Watermelon face pack

Watermelon imparts the same properties to the skin as it does to the diet. 2 tablespoons each of watermelon and cucumber juice have to be mixed and another mixture of one tablespoon of milk powder and one tablespoon of yogurt has to be made. Mix all four ingredients and apply to your face and rinse with cold water after 15 minutes. This will in the long run lighten blemishes. You can use this pack twice a week.

Cucumber face mask

Cucumber mask helps get rid of dead skin and impurities. Grate one whole cucumber and refrigerate for a few minutes. Add some sugar to this and mix well. Leave it on your skin for 15 minutes and rinse with cold drinking water.
