Indians Stranded In Ukraine, But Pm Modi Busy In Up Poll Meetings: Mamata Banerjee

Although Indians are stuck in war-torn Ukraine, Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister remarked on Thursday that Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India is busy campaigning in Uttar Pradesh. She also predicted the Bharatiya Janata Parties' loss in Uttar Pradesh.

In the attendance of Akhilesh Yadav, the President of Samajwadi Party, Jayant Chaudhary the leader of the Rashtriya Lok Dal, Om Prakash Rajbhar the president of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), and Apna Dal chairman Krishna Patel, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief addressed an election assembly in Airhe town of Varanasi region.

She referred to Akhilesh as the son of all and urged voters to unseat the Bharatiya Janata Party and elect Samajwadi Party coalition candidates to create the Akhilesh administration in Uttar Pradesh.

Mamata Banerjee stated that Ukraine is at war, and Prime Minister Modi is having public gatherings in Uttar Pradesh. What matters? It is essential to return the Indian students who have become stuck in Ukraine. You must have known three months ago that the conflict was ready to start if you had such strong contacts with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia. So why didn't you carry every one of the Indians who were trapped in Ukraine back with you?

Mamata Banerjee stated, — Today, you're telling people to come on their own.  Several Indians are resting in bunkers, and a few of them are going hungry and thirsty because of it.

Prime Minister Modi stated at a gathering in Sonbhadra on Wednesday that the administration would leave no stone unturned in bringing back Indians who have been stuck in Ukraine.

Mamata Banerjee further stated that when it comes to elections, they discuss the temple. She has no reservations about Jai Siya Ram. They do not, however, shout Jai Shri Ram in the honor of Mata Sita. Don't try to educate me on how to worship. We honour Maa Durga, who was honoured by Lord Ram.

She also sang a shloka, Sarva Mangal Mangalye, in which she stated that she prays to God Shiva, Devi Durga, as well as other idols, commemorates Janmashtami, and partakes in iftari throughout Ramzan.

She accused the BJP of perpetrating several crimes, claiming that during the Covid time, corpses were thrown into the Ganga and drifted down to West Bengal. She said that these folks did not conduct the final rituals or offer kafan to the deceased.

When she learned of it, the West Bengal administration conducted a respectful cremation of the dead that had arrived in West Bengal while floating down the Ganga.

She urged the public to oppose the Bharatiya Janata Party in this election, using her slogan - Khela hobe.

Mamata Banerjee, who describes herself as a warrior, claims that Bharatiya Janata party activists beat her car with a wooden stick after she landed in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday to pitch for the Samajwadi Party.

She stated that she visited Banaras' holy ghats on Wednesday. She was ecstatic. When she was driving to the ghat, three BJP activists who had nothing else on their minds but hooliganism stopped her car and slammed a cane into it. Her automobile was pushed by them. They advised her to return. Then she realised that these folks had vanished. They've made it clear that they're going to lose the election.
