Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal could be AAP CM candidate for Punjab
According to latest reports from Press Trust of India (PTI) Aam Admi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal could very well be the next Chief Minister candidate for his party in Punjab. If that is the case and he wins his number two in Delhi Manish Sisodia will become the CM of Delhi. In rally Dy CM Sisodia said "No matter who becomes the chief minister, the responsibility to fulfill all promises made by Aam Aadmi Party will be of Arvind Kejriwal," which means the rumor is true. When Arvind Kejriwal took office in Delhi after getting an overwhelming mandate he promised to only concentrate in Delhi but it seems his priority is elsewhere.
In the last general elections held in 2014 the AAP tried contesting in over 400 Lok Sabha seats and only managed to win 4 seats in Punjab and taking that into account it seems Mr. Kejriwal is hedging his bets. But the opposition has pounced on this and Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab tweeted “By asking people to vote for Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister of Punjab, Manish Sisodia has exposed their plan. AAP has proven it does not trust Punjabis." Statements from Congress party chief ministerial candidate Captain Amarinder Singh, who described Mr Kejriwal as a "sneaky little fellow".
He is all set to prove the dictum true that Kejriwal is going to make the Punjabis feel the dust. Kejriwal, has foreseen his career in Delhi and knows how smart Delhi voters are. They have voted Kejri thinking to have somebody pure who belong to no politics but their smartness was charmed by his innocence that lurched his intention to enter the dirty arena.
