PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI ADDRESSED NATION AND APPEAL FOR JANTA CURFEW ON 22 MARCH 2020
Corona Virus is affecting the lives of people globally. The government and the team of doctors are taking several steps to stop the disease. Now, India's honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed for self-imposed Janta curfew In India on 22 March, Sunday.
On Wednesday, PM Modi attends the high-level meeting on the issue of the Corona Virus. Then PMO announced that on Thursday at 8:00 PM, he is going to address the nation to talk about the measure of pandemic Corona Virus.
On 19 March, Modi addressed the nation from live broadcast and informed the public about the steps taken by the government to fight against the Corona Virus. PM Narendra Modi announced the Janta curfew on the coming Sunday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. During these hours, he appealed to the public to stay at home for their health. He urged the public to follow the Janta Curfew as it is a step of stopping to spread the Corona Virus. Modi said that It is essential for every Indian to be aware and alert.
Along with the Janta Curfew, Modi also appealed all people to come out from their house at 5 PM to appreciate the work of those people who are involved in the services which are related to the process of stopping the COVID-19.
Prime Minister said that from the last few days, it seems India has been protected from Corona Virus, but it is not valid, and it is the wrong belief of the Indians. He said that the virus became the cause of death for 9000 lives, and more than two lakhs people's got affected all over the w. Modi said that this is not a good situation in the developing country of India with a large population. The case is becoming worse day by day, and thus it needs a step to stop it. Janta Curfew is also one step to stop the COVID-19.
In this speech, Modi also assured the nation that they would get the proper supply of essential goods, and they are not required to store the things in bulk.
Apart from the steps of fighting for Corona Virus, Prime Minister also assured that the financial situation of India would become better, and nations don't have to get panic from anything. It is also appealed to show kindness and help the people if they need.
