TENSION AND CEASEFIRE VIOLATION INCREASES AT THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER WITH PAKISTAN
The winter is soon going to set inn and this is the last ditch effort by Pakistan to Push militants into India. 2014 has not been a good year for Pakistan with regards to push its terror agenda in the Kashmir Valley. Speaking to reporters Indian Defense Minister Arun Jaitley said "India is never an aggressor, it is a responsible state, but it has a paramount duty to protect its people." He further added "India's forces have only one option - that is to respond adequately and defend our territory and our people."
There is strong rumor, this time India is not going to relent and keep the pressure over Pakistan and only stop when they stop. Also PM Modi is closely watching the events unfolding the border. Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the government will not let the people down and all the support will be given to our security forces.
This is a very clear show of desperation and frustration on the part of Pakistan army to make Kashmir as the focal problem.Already the script supplied by the army to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been ridiculed and put aside by all nations and it seems the Pakistan suffers also from bad timing.
The recent flood which ravaged the Kashmir valley saw the Indian army play a critical role in saving and helping people which has been applauded and acknowledged by everyone. This violation is clearly designed to create discontent among civilians on the Indian side and create a refugee crisis. However it seems the government is prepared for any eventuality this time.
