After the carnage in Peshawar where 132 school children and 9 educators were killed by the Pakistani Taliban, the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has now decided to lift the moratorium on death penalty for terrorists according to latest report form Times of India. Mohiuddin Wani a spokesperson for PM Nawaz Sharif said “It was decided that this moratorium should be lifted. The prime minister approved.” Mr. Sharif while speaking to news reporters and journalists said “the attempt to talk with the insurgents earlier has now failed and the operations against the terrorists will continue.
PM Sharif also had nothing but full praise for the security forces with regards to the ongoing operations against the Pak Taliban in the Waziristan region. First they must take strict action against the killer of Salmaan Taseer who gunned down by his own security guard Malik Mumtaz Qadri and they should also take action against Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi one of the masterminds of 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. Pakistan must not distinguish between forces which are acting against it and those who are involved in terrorism activates in India. it is due to this Pakistan has been suffering from groups like TTP.
